GROUNDWORKS SIGNS AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE CANNA-DADDY’S DISPENSARY

Groundworks Industries, a Portland-based cannabis company, has signed an agreement to acquire one of Southeast Portland’s busiest recreational dispensaries.

Canna-Daddy’s, known for a loyal customer base drawn to the broad range of pricing across shelves and the ultimate variety, often stocks well over 200 strains at a time. It’s been a steadfast bulk supplier to SE Portland shoppers since opening as a medical shop in 2013. The strong brand has made an indubitable impact on the local market, sustaining a substantial business through increasingly competitive times.

“Groundworks will carry on our tradition of excellence and one of the largest cannabis selections in Oregon. As one chapter closes, another one opens,” states Brad and Christina Zusman, founders of Canna-Daddy’s, who will now focus on their Blaze and HeadTrip cannabis brands.

This move is part of Groundworks’ investment in Oregon, the ultimate goal of which is strengthening the state’s market and transforming the perception of the whole cannabis industry.

Established in Portland in 2014, Groundworks Industries employs over 150 Oregonians. Brands include Serra, Electric Lettuce, Farma and Pruf Cultivar, with more announcements to come during this period of restoration and growth.
