McMackin is a SHRM Certified Senior Professional with 20+ years’ experience in the HR field. He brings a strong strategic planning skill set to Groundworks, guided by an intuitive approach honed by his many years working for fast-growing, complex companies in the alternative energy space. Ryan is well-rooted in the business community and has lectured numerous times at Portland State University on various business case studies and the importance of organizational health.

As the vertically-integrated cannabis company grows its core teams as well as acquires additional brick-and-mortar retail businesses in Oregon, McMackin’s expertise on a strong internal foundation is an invaluable asset.
